Ben Koch is a co-founder of NuMinds and a primary contributor/managing editor for The Fissure. He’s taught for over a decade (Kinder to College) and holds a Master’s Degree in Gifted Education from Southern Methodist University. He has globe-trotted a bit, with adventures in Argentina, Holland, the UK, India, China, and Tibet making up his virtual highlight reel. Publications include articles in Highlights for Children, Transitions Abroad, and Intercom, as well as a book of poetry and role as managing editor for Falling Off the Roof of the World, the autobiography of a Tibetan Lama who escaped the Chinese invasion of Tibet. Running, research in human potential, meditation, and yoga round out his other passions.
